What are the goals and target audience?
     Within the INCoDe.2030 roadmap, at the event in Tomar, the SPMS addressed the topic “Digital Transformation of Health” with the aim of informing about the most relevant ongoing projects with the greatest impact on health professionals and citizens. Additionally, through a workshop, they aimed to empower Portuguese citizens to use digital health services.

     Sara Fernandes, the coordinator of the SPMS Unit of PRR, presented the ongoing SPMS projects on “Digital Transformation of Health” within the scope of local initiatives INCoDe.2030. Furthermore, SPMS and Instituto Português do Sangue e da Transplantação (IPST) organized a workshop focused on the use of the SNS 24 app and portal and accessing the main functionalities of digital health services, namely teleconsultation, and promoting blood donation in Portugal.

What are the impacts?
     The expected impacts include a greater awareness of the projects presented by the SPMS, some of which Portuguese citizens can participate in, including blood donation. Additionally, it is expected that the Portuguese will be more empowered and informed to use the SNS 24 app and portal, advancing the use of digital technologies in Portugal.
